Commons 2023

Looking for a Christian community while you're interning in D.C. this summer?

Join Ministry to State for our summer program to Washington, D.C. interns, Commons. Tuesday nights from June 6th to August 1st we will be meeting for dinner, fellowship, and to hear from a speaker about their faith and work in D.C. Our speakers will be from an array of backgrounds, both on and off the hill.

Our theme for the summer is Surviving and Thriving on the Hill. Our hope is that this theme helps us explore and better understand how the Lord uses our experiences of work and relationships to grow our faith and walk with him.

Dates: Tuesday evenings from June 6th - August 1st. We will not be gathering on July 4th.

When: 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m.

Where: On the hill - 1825 Independence Avenue, SE, 20003

What: Commons is a program of Ministry to State. Ministry to State is a non-partisan pastoral ministry on Capitol Hill. Through discipleship, Bible studies, and events, we aim to create a community of study, prayer, and formation in order to encourage those whom God has called into public service.
