Associate State Capitol Minister - Florida
The primary nature of the Ministry to State (MTS) Associate State Capitol Minister is to develop and implement ministry and build community in the various components of those working at the State Capitol. This segment of the ministry will expand as discipling relationships are built with those of diverse backgrounds. It is through these relationships that an understanding of the Gospel as it applies to their lives and work may be developed.
Requirements:
Ordained (Teaching or Ruling Elder) or have the credentials to receive TE ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America.
Possess strong relational and evangelistic qualities.
Able to build meaningful relationships in a politically and socially diverse environment.
Self-starter, works well independently.
Able to raise and maintain support (specific training and coaching is provided and is required).

Women's Ministry Associate - Florida
The position of MTS Florida Women’s Ministry Associate reports to the Florida State Capitol Minister. The MTS Women’s Ministry Associate provides direction in developing and managing MTS’s ministry to women serving in the Florida State Government (Legislative offices of the House and Senate, Executive branch offices and agencies of the Governor and Cabinet, and the offices of the Judiciary including the Florida Supreme Court).
Requirements:
A Christian whose life reflects mature, spiritual growth and is active in a local PCA or other evangelical church.
A Christian who views the position as both a vocation (responsibility) and as a ministry (service).
A bachelor’s degree and/or seminary education in Bible or Theological studies.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships in a politically and socially diverse environment.
Effective communicator, oral and written, with ability to raise and maintain support.
Ability to work well independently.
