Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Chuck was educated at the University of Baltimore and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. For over twenty years he pastored in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before being called to Washington, D.C. in 2003. There, Chuck and his wife Debby started and continue to develop Ministry to State, a ministry to people in government in our national, state, and international capitals. Chuck has traveled and preached extensively throughout the United States, South Africa, Central Europe, Asia and Haiti. He is the author of Prayers for Trump, Obama Prayer, Work Excellence (which was translated into Chinese), and Rulers: Gospel and Government.
Chuck and Debby live in the District of Columbia. They have four children and six grandchildren.

Christine grew up in Northern Virginia and attended Grove City College, where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in Communication Studies. She worked for many summers at White Sulphur Springs, an Officers’ Christian Fellowship conference center. Christine joined the MTS team in March 2017, primarily doing communication and administrative work, and lives in Alexandria, VA.

Mary Frances Dunlap completed her MLitt in Theology, Imagination and the Arts at the University of St Andrews in 2016. Before attending St Andrews, she received a fellowship from the Trinity Fellows Academy, where she developed a vision for ministry that involves the whole person in embodied worship. Mary Frances lived and worked in Washington, a city whose people, parks and bike lanes she looks forward to seeing again soon, after graduating from Rhodes College with a BA in political science in 2011.
Mary Frances joined the D.C. team in Fall 2017 and lives near Capitol Hill.

Born in Bayshore, NY was educated at Florida Southern College and Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando campus). He served as an Army officer from 1986-1995 and then as an Army Chaplain from 1996-2015, and then joined Ministry to State in 2015. He has also served as the assistant pastor (part time) for Harvester PCA since 2013. His work focuses primarily on coordinating and developing ministry in each state capitol.
Thomas is married to Lorelei and they have one daughter, five sons, five graddaughters and one grandson. You can find the State Capitols ministry website at mtscapitols.org.

Michael and his wife Tess will be arriving in D.C. in Spring 2018 with the younger two of their four children. Michael will be ministering to staffers on Capitol Hill and will oversee most of the logistics and day-to-day operations of the D.C. ministry staff.
